Discover the World of EyeCandy

Every day, we are constantly consumed with media images from digital pictures, music videos and advertisements.  But have you ever actually stopped and considered the reality of those images? As we have progressed in this class, we are challenged to critically analyze media and its relationship towards women.  My project will explore music videos and its relationship to us.  Music videos are instantly available through music video channels, WSHH, YouTube and the like.  The women in the music videos matter.  The women in the eyecandy magazines such as Smooth, Straight Stunnin and the like matter as well.  Why do they matter? Because for most of us, our sisters, daughters and friends want to be those women.  Those women are in place to create an illusion.  Those women are a fantasy.  As a former eyecandy model, myself,  I hope to shatter the illusions you have about this fantasy world and give you a real depiction of the eyecandy world.

This is just an amateur video on my way from a video shoot. All laughs. Enjoy.
